Congratulations to our 1st place winners Sandy Conner and Lisa Wolford !
Team #202, Hoehn Porsche brought home first place in this year’s Rebelle Rally, crossover class! The vehicle was driven by Sandy Conner (wife of Sean Conner, Hoehn Porsche General Manager) with Lisa Wolford (Hoehn Porsche Finance Manager) as the co-pilot and team navigator. Their Porsche Cayenne V6 withstood all obstacles as they navigated wisely and strategically throughout the rally, allowing them to maintain their 50-point lead in the overall standings.
The 2018 4X4 class represented 32 teams. The crossover class was represented by six incredible teams with vehicle brands ranging from Honda, Subaru, and Porsche.
The Rebelle Rally is the first women’s off-road navigation rally in the United States. Teams of two traversed over 2,000 kilometers in eight competition days across the Nevada and California desert. It is not a race for speed, but a unique and demanding event based on the elements of headings, hidden checkpoints, time, and distance using maps, compass, and roadbook.
It is designed as a hybrid of serious competition and the ultimate road trip. Competitors are surrounded by other women who share their adventurous and competitive spirits as they drive and navigate their way to checkpoints across the American West. And best of all, they get to leave their cell phones, computers, GPS’s, & headaches behind. It is about powerful women, their grit, and their endless abilities.
